Yesterday, GoDaddy started sales on .me domains. I watched the timer as it ticked down and as soon as it hit 0 I hit go on my two prepared searches for mike.me and mikerobinson.me. They were both available! Or so I was led to believe… (more…)
CoD4 Respawn = Crap
For x-mas last year I received Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox 360, and since then I have completely the game several times over, gotten all the achievements and I am now playing through prestige mode in multiplayer. I love this game, I enjoy playing it almost as much as I enjoy playing CS:S. But I have a problem with multiplayer respawn: it SUCKS. (more…)
I Have a Shopping Curse
Recently, the spare room in the house has finished getting decorated which means I can set up my home office. All I need is a desk, a simple desk to work from. Not looking for anything fancy, I have plenty of storage already. I just need a spacious desk for a reasonable price. Apparently, that is too much to ask in life… (more…)
Mini-Reviews of My Christmas Games
For Christmas, my lovely girlfriend bought me three excellent games for my Xbox 360. Call of Duty 4, Assassin’s Creed and Crackdown are all I have been playing since Christmas, doing pretty much everything I can (getting achievements)! Xbox 360 Achievements
The 360 has a system know as Gamerscore, a count of the points you have amassed from playing games. Each retail game has at least 1000 possible points, which are assigned by completing achievements, ranging from “Complete on Hard Mode” to “Discover All Secret Areas”. Upon completing, you get a little message to congratulate you and the points are added to your account. It’s an excellent system but, as rothbart (Sarcastic Gamer) points out, it is not without it’s flaws and annoyances. (more…)
