Get a Gravatar
I’ve been using Gravatars here on akamike for a while, but never really spoken about them. To raise awareness I’ve put together a “What are Gravatars?” info page which is linked on every comment form. Hopefully more friendly faces will appear in the comments!
Why not take things a step further and add Gravatars to your own site/blog? They aren’t restricted to Wordpress and I know that I feel more compelled to read comments using them, so set them up!
I look forward to seeing more smiling faces :)
OneWebDay
Yesterday was OneWebDay, a day dedicated to celebrating what the web/internet means to us, as individuals, organizations and communities. Since I only found out about this late into the day, I decided to wait until today to post about it.
An Update on the Lack of Updates
I am majorly behind on blog posting! I have missed 3 Sunday Links, have 4 drafts queued up for editing and have just returned from staying with Sasha for almost two weeks, so I have a post about a day out from that.
