The Big Word Project
The Big Word Project (TBWP) is a new site from Lee Munroe and Paddy Donnelly, where you buy words to have them linked to your site. That word becomes exclusive to you on the site so that when someone looks up that word on TBWP it will notify them that the word has been “redefined”, linking to your site. Newbreed Girl Rips Off T-Shirt Design
A t-shirt design, titled “Lil’ Soap” and printed by Threadless, was ripped off by Newbreed Girl. The company sells the t-shirt through Hot Topic without any form of consent from the original designer, Jess Fink.
This kind of thing happens all the time, but it’s been proven in the past that internet communities and blogs get the word out there to help set things right.
Can’t Think of Name for Food Blog
As I’ve mentioned a couple of times in the past, I would like to start a food blog. It would be a mix of reviews, recipes and general tips, then maybe even evolve into a community or podcast. The problem is I can’t quite think of a name! (more…)
Turning 20 (Photo Heavy)
While the morning/early afternoon was pretty quiet, Sash being at university and me just staying in, the rest of the day made up for it and gave me a great 20th birthday. Happy Birthday to Me
It’s been 20 years since I did not exist. Well, I existed but I was pretty lazy and just hung around, leeching off my mother. No, I’m not talking about my student years(!), today is my 20th Birthday! It might not be one of the biggest milestones, but it’s an interesting point in life that is worth a little more thought than the usual birthday. (more…)
