WANTED: Jaiku Invite - Edit: Get invites here

Just a quick post to ask anyone who has a Jaiku account, with a free invite, to send one my way ;) I thought I had an account from a while back, so unless it got deleted I guess I forgot to sign up (which is not like me at all)! I would like to do a little article on comparing some micro-blogging services, Jaiku is the only one I don’t have access to at the moment. So, please?

For those who don’t know, Google bought Jaiku so they went invite only, for now.

ChannelFlip

The UKs own internet TV production company, from Wil Harris and Justin Gayner, is now rolling out shows. ChannelFlip currently offers three shows, in “beta”, covering gaming, DVDs/movies and technology/gadgets/computing. I’ve watched them all, so here’s what I’m thinking… (more…)

Xbox 360 Achievements

The 360 has a system know as Gamerscore, a count of the points you have amassed from playing games. Each retail game has at least 1000 possible points, which are assigned by completing achievements, ranging from “Complete on Hard Mode” to “Discover All Secret Areas”. Upon completing, you get a little message to congratulate you and the points are added to your account. It’s an excellent system but, as rothbart (Sarcastic Gamer) points out, it is not without it’s flaws and annoyances. (more…)
